League SOS For Missing Morrin Cup

North Shore third grades will meet a combined Whangarei team in a Rugby League game at Jubilee Parx on Saturday; reported the secretary of the League (Mr John Eryant) at a meeting presided over by the senior vicepresident (Mr F. Jones) on Tuesday night.

Following the junior game City will play Takahiwai in the final round of the senior knock-out competition. Hncurangi will meet Kamo at I-liku-rangi.

Mr Bryant said that many applications for visits to Whangarei had been received from other clubs. This Sunday Glen Afton (South Auckland) will play a Whangarei team at Tangiteroria, while visits from Huntly United. Ngaruawahia and Marist and Newton (Auckland) will be arranged in .the near future.

The team to represent Whangarei against North Shore on Saturday has been selected by Mr Gil Dobson. Northland junior selector, as follows: J. Wells (P). W. Wells (P), S. Puru <P), R. Whithey <P), D.
