(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Otago’s overwhelming victory at Soccer against Canterbury by 15—0 was a feature of yesterday's matches in the New Zealand University’s winter tournament.
In the qualifying rounds for the golf championship, J. D. Nash (Victoria) led the field with splendid scores of 74 and 75 on the Hutt Club's course. C. W. Caldwell, of Canterbury, was next, with an aggregate of 160. Canterbury won the miniature rifle shooting with an aggregate of 766 out of a possible 800. The placings for Victoria and Auckland have yet to be determined. Otago’s aggregate was 746.
