New Clue In Murder Case?
(Special)
AUCKLAND, This Day
Two senior detectives investigating the murder of Mrs Rusden, today accompanied a solicitor to the Auckland Hospital, where they interviewed a patient. Detectives have seized a quantity of burned material from premises in the city and are having it analysed.
These tests may be of sufficient importance to enable an arrest to be made.
No report on the post-mortem examinations has been received by the police. Detectives believe that Mrs Rusden was murdered about eight hours before the body was discovered by her husband at 5.30 p.m. on June 5.
