Little U.S. Interest In Napier Wool
(P.A.)
NAPIER. This Day.
Marked lack of interest by American buyers was noticeable at the final Napier wool sale today. Main interest—though limited—in the 25,000-bale offering was shown by Bradford ,the Continent and Canada. There was a falling-off of inquiry for lambs’ wool, but this was probably explained by the average quality and the fact that some clips had been baled for many weeks.
Otherwise late rates remained unchanged. Bidding was steady without being animated.
