Doctorate Of Divinity For Dunedin Minister
(Rec. 11 a.m.) LONDON. Mar. 14. The Rev. John Allen, Principal of Knox College, Dunedin, will be among the dignitaries of overseas churches receiving honorary Doctorates of Divinity at Edinburgh University on July 4.
The award will be made at the time the college celebrates its centenary. The university list includes the Rev. Hans Lilje, assistant Bishop of Hanover and other churchmen from Europe and the Dominions.
