Edinburgh's Gift To Dunedin
(Reuter) LONDON, Mar. 6., The Edinburgh Corporation, as a goodwill gesture, is sending a gift to Dunedin of a table ornament incorporating a fragment of rock obtained when excavations were being made for the altar stone carrying the Casket of Remembrance in the Scottish national war memorial at Edinburgh Castle. It is recalled that Dunedin, which Scottish migrants founded, gave £IOOO to Edinburgh.
