Gun Dog Club Enthusiasm
The annual meeting of the Northland Gun Dog Field Trial Club on Wednesday evening gave a clear indication that the future of the sport in the North is assured. Members who attended tackled the business with thoroughness and enthusiasm and an attractive programme of activities is to be drafted to en- , sure that devotees of the sport are i satisfactorily catered for. j The following officers were elected: I —Patron, Mr S. J. Sncw; president, ' Mr A. H. Alexander; vice-president, !Mr R. Cavanagh; secretary, Mr J. j .Hosking; committee, Messrs G. Baker, i A. Vining, H. T. Parkin, H. James, and I C. Kokich. A trophy donated by Mr Snow was accepted with thanks. The committee is to decide the competition I for which it will be awarded.
