Gardening Club
Members of the Whangarei Ladies’ Gardening Club together with those of the Maungakaramea branch, spent a very enjoyable afternoon visiting the garden of Mrs S. W. Crawford at Maungakaramea. Lunch was served in the shade of the trees in the grounds. Afternoon tea was served to the visitors by the ’Karamca club. The long flower borders along Mrs Hamilton Walker’s drive were also admired by the Whangarei ladies.
