Seryice Ribbons For Merchant Seamen
(P.A.) WELLINGTON. Tills Day. The Minister of Marine (Mr O'Brien) announced today that the Marine Department is now in a position to make a preliminary issue of ribbons of the various campaign stars and the War Medal to those members of the Merchant Navy qualified to receive thou by virtue of their sea service during the war. Application .forms and details of qualification are obtainable from the superintendents of mercantile marine at all main ports, and the head office of the Marine Department. Wellington.
