Plane Passengers

This morning's plane from Auckland brought six passengers, one of whom alighted at Onerahi. Three seats were taken at Onerahi, including Miss M. Dennis, the first halffare passenger to be carried since the service opened on Monday. Mr and Mrs W. E. Dennis were flying with their family of small chlidren to Kaitaia.

The Electra left Onerahi with eight passengers, three of whom left the plane at Kaikohe, the remaining passengers alighting at Kaitaia. Besides the passengers and crew, the machine carried mail and baggage. The Dargaville Chamber of Commerce is to make application to the National Airways Corporation for the appointment of a booking agency in Dargaville for the convenience of residents who wish to use the Northland air service.

Included in this request will be an application for the allocation of seats for Northern Wairoa residents on the northern air service.
