OBITUARY
(Special) DARGAVILLE, This Day Mr Cornelius Chine, a son of a pioneer farmer of the Drury disiric.: ancl himself a farming pioneer of Northern Wairon. died ;.estcrday, aged 76.
He arrived in the north GO years ago and reached this district by walking from Whangarei Ly way of Puhipuhi. After a brief period of gumdigging he look up farming. In his younger days he was a very good horseman. He L survived lay his wife, three sons and eight daughters.
