Mr J. A. TovSor
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The death has occurred of Mr James Ashmore Taylor, who was well known in commercial circles in Wellington and other parts of the Dominion. He was managing director of the firm of Middows Brothers and Taylor. Mr Taylor was also well known in racing circles and had been a member of the Wellington Racing Club since 1920. He owned and raced several horses, winning the Canterbury Jockey Club Winter Cup with Kulhio, the Great Northern Oaks with Ilka and the Napier Cun and several other : events with Tresham. He is survived by a widow and two sons, Messrs John A. Taylor (Heretaungal and Keith Taylor (Karori).
