Two Lose Deposits In British By-Elections
(Rec. 11.3 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 6. Labour candidates won two by-elec-ticns today. The Aberdare by-election resulted: Mr D. E. Thomas <U 24,215. Mr Samuel Welsh (N) 7090. Mr L. Hallinah (C) 4140.
The vacancy was caused by the elevation of Mr G. H. Hall to the peerage Mr Hallinan lost his deposit.
The Kilmarnock by-election resulted: Mr W. Ross (L) 22.456, Mr G. Walker (C> 12,239. Mr H. Dott (Scottish Nat.) 2932. The vacancy was caused by the resignation cf Mrs C. Chaw (L). Mr Dott lost his deposit.
