Induction Of Chinese Missioner

(P.A.) WELLINGTON. This Day. A notable occasion in the Chinese community was the induction last night of the Rev. Cheung Wing Ngok, 8.A., as missioner to the Chinese in Wellington.

He will also pay periodical visits to Chinese residents in the southern portion of the North Island. Journalist, lay preacher and voluntary priest in the Cathedral of Hongkog, he was charged with his duties by Canon N. F. E. Robertshawe, vicar of St Mark's and Anglican superintends U of the Chinese Mission, assisted by the general secretary of the New Zealand Anglican Board of Missions (the Rev. F. C. Long). The mission is a joint Anglican and Baptist one, and both churches were represented at the ceremony.
