Chapel Royal Choir Sings Carols To King And Queen

LONDON, Dec. 19,

The King and Queen and Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret Rose sat around the fire at Buckingham Palace today and listened to Christmas carols sung by men and boys of the Chapel Royal Choir. The choristers, clad in scarlet and gold Tudor uniforms, ended a tencarol programme with a fanfare carol “Gloria in Excelsis.”

The King gave a new choir boy an autographed copy of the Bible. He spoke to all the choristers and wished them a happy Christmas.
