Air Travel Planned For Cricket Team
SYDNEY, This Day
Air travel across tne Tasman and back is planned for the Australian cricket team to tour New Zealand early next year. Mr H. Heydon, secretary of the New South Wales Cricket Association, said that as the shipping companies have hundreds of people awaiting transport to New Zealand, air transport both ways had been specified as one of the terms of the tour by the Board of Control.
The proposal is for the team to leave late in February. The programme will probably be a month or six weeks.
