Aucklander To Work On Atom In Canada
(Special) AUCKLAND, This Day Mr-. lan K. Walker, son or the Rev. W. Walker and Mrs. Walker, of Auckland, has been seconded to work with the atomic energy train at Montreal, Canada.
He is a member .of the staff of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research. Eight other New Zealanders are already with the team in Canada. During the latter part of the war, Mr. Walker worked on radar at the Air Defence Research Establishlishment in England. He will return to New Zealand at the end of his period of duty, ' '
