| (Special) INVERCARGILL, This Day. | The New Zealand Manufacturers’ 1 Federation Schools’ Competition has been won by the Edendale School, i Schools were invited to make a sur- : vey of any New Zealand manufacturing industry, which might be treated in a variety of ways, but in general would involve something of the history and development of the industry, the reasons why it was established in one
particular locality rather than another, the processes by which it is carj ried on, the lives of the workers, and i its importance to the community.
| Form I and Form II pupils at Eden- ! dale chose the sugar-of-milk industry.
