Musical Recital In Town Hall
The 26th annual recital of pupils from the studio of Albert Dobson, L.R.S.M., LT.C.L., was held last night in the Whangarrei Town Hall. Those taking part were Cathrine Haslett, Judith Goodwin, Ruth A’Court, Barbara Hart, Barbara Horrell, Jeanette Dempster, Margaret McCarthy, Alfred Mclntyre, Lorna Ralls, Audrey Ralls, Dorothy Ralls, Jean Fraser, Pam Fraser, Ailecn Haslett, Margaret Hart, Alison Wilson, Ngaire Dempster, Myllis Kearney, Lova Bisset, Pat Knowles, Marie Knowles, lan Summers, Bryan Lloyd, Munro Wilson, Gordon Reynolds, Patricia Johnson, Janice Garton, M. Alexander, Margaret Cheeseman, M. Cameron, and Frances Wordsworth. Madam N. Dobson sang solos and Mr Lawrence Wordsworth played violin solos.
Certificates of the Royal Schools of Music were presented.
