National Savings Quota
(Special.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Government’s decision to continue National Savings as a peace-time measure in the interests of Ihe country’s economic welfare, as recently announced by the Minister for Finance (Hon. W, Nasli) is apparently in keeping with the wishes of the investors. The regularity with which “quota” successes are still being recorded, shows that there has been no diminution of the people's determination to save. Last wtek 245 towns achieved their objectives, an increase of four on the preceding week, in all the principal centres, and in each of the 19 postal districts, the full •-motas were attained. Since July 1 last, approximately 3000 new National Savings Accounts fiave been opened.
