Double Bill At Plaza
For thrills, action and excitement, “Wild Bill Hickok Rides.” one of the two feature films on the new programme at the Plaza, is in the first grade. With th<* famous frontier marshal, who lias become a legendary figure in the United States, as the ceniral character, the story is gripping from start to finish. Bruce Cabot plays the title role of Hickok, who brought law and order to the wild towns of the West, while Constance Bennett -is the proprietress of a gambling hall, her bet ter instincts constantly at war with her thirst for wealth. The story is concerned, with the efforts of Warren William to secure control of rich ranching country, with Hickok pitied against him and endeavouring to rid the country cf its despoilers. The second feature is “Today I Hang,” with Walter Woolf King'. Mona Barrie and William Farnum in the main roles. It is ar. exciting story of a jewel robbery and murder, with an innocent man fighting lor his life and liberty.
