The eyes of the British and American fleefs are on Norway, which is not included in Doenitz s surrender If Doenitz should be mad enough to attempt to keep the submarines m action. it is logical that he would at tempt to keep Norway as a base. If U-boat commanders ignore the final surrender, and attempt to operate as pirates, as has been intimated from some Nazi sources, they will be dealt with extremely harshly when captured.
