. The recent intimation to the Eire Government that Australia was in accord with the American request for removal from. Eire of German and Japanese representatives and would not intervene was the decision of the Australian Government. The Prime Minister (Mr Curtin) said this, replying to critical statements by Archbishop Mannix.
