It skilfully knits the role of British. American and French forces and makes special reference to the New Zealanders’ “left hook” at El Hamma. Battle scenes were shot in the frontline by official film units. It is a first-class documentary film! of historical interest, for, in addition to the Washingtori conference, it also shows Casablanca conference, and the meeting of Giraud and de Gaulle. Other scenes include Darlan, Rommel and all Allied service leaders.
