Red Cross, St. John Raise 12 Millions For War Work
(8.0. W., noon) RUGBY, October 1. More than £12,000,000 has been raised in the first four years of war by the Red Cross and the St. John organisation. This figure has been announced by the chairman of the appeal (Lord Iliffe), and The Times,” in reporting it, states that the British War Relief Society of_ America has, in addition, raised £6,750,000 for British relief in the last two years.
