Mrs Gillingham, accompanied by her daughter Gwen, of the W.A.A.F., is holidaying in Auckland. Mr Edge, who has been staying with his daughter, Mrs Babe, has left to visit relatives in Auckland.
Miss Nancy Gillingham and Miss E. Babe, have been on leave from a W.A.A.F. station.
Mrs Cyril Bint and baby son are visiting Mrs Stewart Cross. The recent storm in the district caused extensive damage to a large shed belonging to Mr S. W. Crawford and valuable contents stored then*, when a big macrocarpa fell.
