State Trading’ Departments Help Patriotic Fund
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The National Patriotic Fund Board has received £19,700 from Government trading departments, comprising P. and T., railways, hydro-electric branch, £SOOO each; State Fire, £2000; national broadcasting and commercial broadcasting, £IOOO each; mines, £500; native trust, £2; also £2OOO from a national organisation which desires to remain anonymous; and £SOO each from the Film Exchanges Association and Theatre Management Ltd. The last two are to be shared by the Wellington and Auckland councils. The rest are to be allocated to provincial councils pro rata.
