Famous Billiardist Dead
(Rec. 11.45 a.m.) LONDON. Sept. 30. The death has occurred of the billiardist, Mr. Tom Newman, after several years’ illness from throat trouble, for which he was in hospital several times. He gave un the game about a year ago after participating in numerous exhibition matches on behalf of charity.
