Doctor Gave False Certificates

Prosecuting counsel said the police sent four fit men to Dr. Sutton. For the payment of a few shillings all were given certificates stating they were in ill-health to such an extent as to be unfit to travel. None of th« men was examined by the doctor. It was stated that Dr. Sutton, who is 66, had a family of six. His eldest son was a doctor and the two youngest were medical students.
