Important Position For de Gaulle Supporters
(Rec. 11.30 a.m.) ALGIERS, Sept. 28. General Paul Legentilhomme has been appointed Commissioner for National Defence. He was former Commissioner for War to de Gaulle’s Free French Committee in London, and later became French High Commissioner for the Indian Ocean zone. The appointment is regarded as a' sign of the National Committee’s determination not to allow Giraud over-riding powers.
