Want Sirens Restored
(Special) AUCKLAND. This Day. As another reflection of the improved war situation, the Auckland Metropolitan Fire- Board this morning decided to make representations to have sirens reinstated on lire engines. Mr W. Stead said that the bells at present being used were hardly heard before the engines were among Ihe people in the ; i vei l s.
