Nash For Washington If Labour Returned

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Prime Minister (Mr. Fraser) stated today that if the Labour Government was returned, he intended to request Mr. Nash to return to Washington to carry on the splendid work he has already done there for New Zealand. IVJr. Nash had established a close personal friendship with President Roosevelt, and Messrs. Hopkins. Stettinius. Cordell Hull. Sumner Welles, Stimson. Colonel Knox and others in charge of the United States' war effort, and was accepted ns a friend in every part of the United States. Mr. Fraser added that Mr. Nash would retain his present Ministerial positions, and would return to them when his mission to the United States was finished.
