Courtney beat Dempster; Heape beat McDonald; Worden beat Dallas; Dawson beat North; Snow beat Going. In the third round of the Walker and Hall Cup. Oliver .beat Carr; Adams beat Georgeson; Joll boat Smith; Kokieh heat Walker. The following is the draw for the second round of the Rawea Shield, to he played on August 28:—Going v. Oliver; Dempster v. Walker; Dawson v. Frew; North v. Courtney; Wills v. Worden; Wakelin v. Wilkinson; Fagan v. Dallas; Joll v. McDonald; Adams v. Smith; Cantlon v. Monk; Lovegrove v. Carr; Snow v. Heape; Kokieh v. Georgeson. WIIAU VALLEY LADIES The winner of the Settlers’ Cup played ever three rounds was Mrs. Snow (19), her net scores being 75, 81. 80. The two next best scores were Mrs. Arneil (17), 77, 81, 80, and Mrs. Davis (22), 72. 86, 36. The winner of the L.G.U. medal round was Mrs. Lane, 111—36 —75. Other good scores were Mrs. Georgeson, 96—18—78. and Mrs. lieape. 108—30—78. Wakelin Cup:—The winner was Mrs. Wills (20). In the final she defeated Mrs. Roxsiter (22). three and one. Both plaved good golf although there were heavy showers. Mrs. Wills returned a net score of 73.
