“Telefax” Equals Television
WASHINGTON, August 21. The Western Union Telegraph vicepresident, Mr. E. E. Dhuiny, stated that “Telefax,” a new method ol' beaming telegrams on light-waves, would be developed after the war. over a period of ten years, as existing equipment was gradiialv retired. The exact reproduction of the original message would be transmitted, with an infinitesimal chance of error. “Telefax” was comparable with television.
