(Special) AUCKLAND, This Day. The Pakuranga Hunt Cup at Ellerslie provided a most exciting if somewhat unsatisfactory finish. Prom the last fence home Huirangi Sun bored out badly, and Forest Glen came on stride for stride, but Huirangi Sun jammed Forest Glen against the outside fence. Huirangi Sun just got there by a nose, but after the race the stewards considered a protest and reversed the placings, awarding first place to Forest Glen.
