Rehabilitation Of Overseas Men
OAMARU. This Day. Replying to a question by Mr. A. C. Piper, secretary of tire Oainaru Returned Services Association, Mr. S. W. Caspar, ot the Rehabilitation Board, when speaking at Camaru, said that the men who served overseas would have prior rights in rehabilitation, compared with those serving at home. Therefore, because the home servicemen might be discharged first, it did not necessarily follow that they would get all the “pickings.” So far as land settlement was concerned, good farms would be reserved for men coming back irom the Middle East.
