Mrs M. Owen. Several of ihe cases reported on concerned Maori girls who had been absem from work in essential industries. In a number of instances the girls were found io be living in wry undesirable conditions. Lion or and associations wiih servicemen were cited as a cause of delinquency in some eases. In one ease, ihe commit fee recommended that ihe gill be scm back to her home in Norihland. ■“ • « • Campaign for Christian Order The Campaign for Christian Order is sending to every part of the Dominion 200,000 copies of an election manifesto. It is expected that distribution will bo completed by the end of this month, the Post Office estimates that about 50 per cent, of the households in Now Zealand will receive a copy. The Campaign for Christian Order represents the following: Church of England. Presbyterian. Methodist and Congregational Churches, the Salvation Army, the- Associated Churches of Christ, and the Society of Friends. The manifesto sets out the questions which should be put Io candidates for election to Parliament.
