Traffic Chock Brings Motorists To Court
Resulting from a traffic inspection in Whangarei on August ft, several motorists appeared in the Whangaroi Court today on motor regulation breaches, Charles Fisher, who said he had only recently purchased a motor-cycle, admitted nor having an assigned number on the vehicle, and nor having a driver’s license or certificate of fitness. He was fined £1 with costs on each of the first two charges, arid 10/- with costs on tinthird count.
For not having drivers’ licenses. Gwen Eric Bindon and Allan Harry James Purchase were each fined £1 with costs, and John Henry Wright 10/- with costs. Two charges, not having sufficient lights and carrying more than two persons on a motor-cycle without a sidecar, were brought by the police against Donald Keith Gibbs, who did not appear. In evidence. Constable Love said the motor-cycle had been carrying the rider and two others, Gibbs stating that he did nor know this was an offence. The lights cf the vehicle had not been functioning properly. Gibbs was fined £1 with costs on each charge,
