No Saturday Work At Liverpool Mine
(P.A.) GREYMOUTH. This Day. Liverpool State mine was idle again today. Men met at the bath-house and decided to work nc more back Saturdays this year on account of unsatisfactory attendances. The miners were willing to work today but truckers decided to return home, idling mine truckers who resented the lost 'opportunity on the last two back Saturdays to earn time-and-a-half pay owing to the absence of miners. The truckers’ action today was a reprisal.
