Worthy Promotion
LONDON. August 21. Special inn-rest has been taken in tiepromotion of Lieut.-Generals Sir Bernard Paget, Commander-in-Chief of the Home Force.', since 1941, and Sir William Plan, both of whom have been promoted generals. Both are regarded as soldiers with outstanding records in this war, Sir Bernard Paget supervising the withdrawal from Norway, and organised the evacuation without ilie loss of a man. while Sir William Plan is the conqueror of Abyssinia.
