Eire Petrol Shortage
From May. 3. long-distance bus services in Eire have been cut by 50 per cent. Petrol is now so short in Ireland can only absolutely essential set vices can be maintained. The official statement announcing the cut said that for May there was only a fraction of the usual monthly issue of petrol available. There was no petrol for doctors in the cities and hackney vehicles are only getting 25 per cent of an already small ration.
