Added To War Criminals
(Rec. 2 p.m.) LONDON, July 23. The German military governor cl Crete, General Brauer, ordered thd execution of. 50 Cretans accused of helping British troops who raided aerodromes on the island on July 4. Brauer also imposed a curfew and. closed all cinemas to civilians. . The Hellenic News Service states that the Allies warned Brauer that his name and those of his subordinates bad been added to the list of war criminals.
