Await Argentine Deeds
NEW YtiLiK. June
The Argentine Government lias suggested sending a special mission to Washington to discuss political, economic and military questions with a view to improving relations between the two countries, says the “New York Times” Washington correspondent. Although the American Government has not declined to receive the mission, as her attitude has been that Argentina cannot expect Lease-Lend aid until she severs relations with the Axis, it is understood General Ramirez first desires to determine the ehanictei und quantity of American aid before breaking relations. Informed circles point out the new regime declared it would contribute to American solidarity with deeds not words. Hence the disposition here is to await deeds.
