Aussie Food Control
(Rec. Noon) CANBERRA, This Day. Australia's now food control authority will control “every commodity used for food or drink by man other than drugs or water.” This is set out in the new Commonwealth regulations. The authority is empowered to direct that any food be grown, to determine its quantity and to regulate distribution of foodstuffs, fertilisers and fodder. It may prohibit the growing or consumption of any food or fodder as well as production and use of fertilisers. It. has power to requisition those commodities.
