Poland Will Not Forget
LONDON, June 28. “Polish troops are eager to measure themselves against Poland’s enemy,” said General Sikorski in a broadcast over the Beirut radio after a visit to the Polish army in the Middle East. Poland is again passing through a veritable hell. Bestial murders of hundreds of Poles during the last few weeks will not be forgotten. The Germans are wallowing in a sea of blood and cannot count on pity when the hour of retribution comes.” Russo-Folisli Relations Referring to the recent disruption of Russian-Polish relations, General Sikorski said: “I know the latest developments have created anxiety. Therefore I assure you there will not be a division of Europe into spheres of interest against the will of interested parties.”
