Calliope Dock Gate
(Special) AUCKLAND, Thursday. An important engineering effort was completed in Auckland today when a 270-ton dock gate for Calliope Dock was launched. It was built by local engineers of Australian, steel. It cost £22,000 and work was begun last August. The gate is 85 feet in length, 45 feet high and 13£ feet wide.
