Still Active At 101
Her 101st birthday was celebrated recently by Mrs. Isabella Bain Munro. of Sixth Avenue, Tauranga, iwho is still very active. Born at Lossiemouth. \ Scotland, she married the late Mr, Willian Munro. a ship’s officer, and lived in Scotland and London before coming to New Zealand in 1903. Mr. Munro established a shipwright business in Auckland, and they lived at Ponsonby and Onehunga. After Mr. Munro retired, they moved to Lake Rotoiti. Mrs. Munro still does a certain amount of housework in the home of her son and daughter-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Munro, of Tauranga. Mr. Munro died 27 years ago.
