Catroux Becomes Liaison Officer
LONDON. February 20. General Catroux in a statement, said: “I have accepted from General de Gaulle the position of permanent liaison officer between the Fighting French and General Giraud. I shall alternatively visit Algiers and Beirut, carrying out a mission which I am sure will one day lead to a union of the French forces.”
