We hc-ar a Jot about a Campaign for Christian Order, and the churches and Christian organ isations are requested to do all in their power to help in this world-wide movement, and rightly so. What I v/ould like to know is: What is the State doing to make the world a better place to live in? What I renter to is the drink traffic. In this town we have a selfish class of people who have parties every week. There is no reason why people should not enjoy themselves, but this is the point: They have kegs of beer and keep the noise up all night while a poor mother next dooi. whose son and husband are away at the war, is trying to sleep Women these times are a bundle of nerves. Is it a fair thing? If one asks the State for protection we are told there is nothing can be done about it. It is time there was, unless they want a few more nervous wrecks. Can anyone throw any light on this matter, as it is serious.—ANXlOUS.
