Whangarei Exceeds Patriotic Quota

Whangarei has exceeded its patriotic interzone quota before the full year has expired, £21,132 being raised, this being £ 10C7 in excess of the required £20,125. This money was the sum total of contributions from interzones in the Whangarei area, and was raised up to November 30. The following are interzone contributions, with quota in brackets: —

Total. £21,132 (£20,125). Total collections over a three-year period amount to £30.919, £9617 being raised in 1940 and 1941. and £21,132 in 1942. Over £3OO was paid to the Auckland Provincial Patriotic Fund for November. The total amount so far raised is C 14,629/16/2.
